Scott Evans has over 20 years experience in commodities supply chain. Waybridge promotes Co-founder Andrea Aranguren to Chief Customer Officer along with additional executive promotions.
Waybridge, the supply chain platform for raw materials, today announced that the Company’s Board of Directors has promoted co-founder Scott Evans to Chief Executive Officer.
He will assume day-to-day leadership of the Company and will also retain his position on Waybridge’s Board of Directors. Evans, a commodity supply chain veteran, has served as Waybridge’s President since he co-founded the Company in October of 2019. Brian O’Kelley, Waybridge co-founder, has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer but has retained his board position and will also serve as an advisor to the Company.
“It has been a great experience to work with Brian to co-found Waybridge and build a technology platform for the next era of the raw materials supply chain,” said Evans. “He’s been instrumental in getting Waybridge to the point where we are powering the buying, selling and trading of metals and other raw materials for some of the largest producers and consumers in the world, and we’ve built a strong team to set us up for continued success moving forward.”
Before co-founding Waybridge, Evans spent 20+ years in the physical commodities space building the metals trading desk at Goldman Sachs, trading at Mitsubishi, and co-founding Concord Resources Limited. He deeply understands the frustrations and complexities of the market and the need for digital transformation for companies producing and consuming raw materials.

Additionally, the Company has further strengthened its executive team and promoted co-founder Andrea Aranguren to Chief Customer Officer, Kyle McCarter to Chief Product Officer, Patrick McCarthy to Chief Business Officer, Kinney Sheth to VP of Design, and Ali Cigari to VP of Engineering.
